About the course
What this course covers
The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) recognises people who can apply agile principles across approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and SAFe, and who can align work to organisational priorities. It is more than a Scrum credential: the PMI-ACP exam tests your judgement about mindset, leadership, product and delivery choices in realistic scenarios.
This course follows PMI's current Examination Content Outline, effective November 2024. The four domains are Mindset (28%), Leadership (25%), Product (19%) and Delivery (28%). You learn agile values and principles, complexity thinking, servant leadership and team empowerment, backlog and increment management, value delivery, metrics, risk, waste and flow, using practice questions and case studies. The 21 hours also meet PMI's training requirement for the application.
The exam consists of 120 questions (100 scored and 20 unscored), 3 hours allowed, delivered at a Pearson VUE centre or online proctored. The certification must be maintained by earning 30 PDUs every three years.

It provides 21 hours of live instruction aligned to the exam content outline. PMI asks for proof of completion with your application, so keep your course completion record.
Q.What agile experience do I need?
Two years of agile experience in the past five years, or one year plus a GAC-accredited degree, or one year plus an active third-party agile certification held for over a year, or an active PMP.
Q.How many questions are on the exam?
120 questions (100 scored, 20 unscored) with 3 hours allowed. There is a 10-minute break after question 60.
Q.What is the passing score?
PMI does not publish a numeric pass mark.
