What this course covers
Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) is ICAgile's certification for people who help individuals and teams improve how they work, rather than just run the ceremonies for them. The course treats coaching as a professional skill with its own stance, ethics and techniques, and then applies it to agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and leaders.
Over 24 hours of live online sessions you practise active listening, powerful questions, giving and receiving feedback, contracting with a coachee and holding a coaching conversation from opening to action. You also learn how to read a team's stage of development, work with conflict, and decide when to coach and when to step into teaching, mentoring, facilitating or consulting.
ICAgile certifications are awarded for completing an accredited class and meeting the instructor's assessment criteria; there is no separate exam. This course suits people who already know Scrum or another agile approach and want to move from running the process to growing the people.

Questions learners ask us
Q.Is there an exam for ICP-ACC?
No separate exam is required. ICAgile asks training providers to assess you during the class, using in-class activities, exercises or a short test chosen by the instructor, and you must attend all the learning outcomes.
Q.I am a Scrum Master with 2 years of experience. Is this too early?
No. Two years of hands-on Scrum is a good base. The course is about skills such as listening and questioning, which you practise in class, so you do not need to already be a coach.
Q.How is this different from CSM or PSM?
CSM and PSM teach a framework and its rules. ICP-ACC teaches how to coach people and teams, whatever framework they use. Many professionals take both.
Q.Does the certificate expire?
ICAgile states that its certifications do not expire and that there are no renewal fees or continuing education credit requirements.
Q.Will this get me an agile coach job in India?
It strengthens your profile, but employers also look at real team experience. Salaries vary a lot by city and company, and there is no job guarantee.
Q.Do I need to be on camera?
Yes. Coaching practice happens in small breakout groups, and you get far more from the course when you can see and be seen by your peers.
