What this course covers
Certified Agile Process Owner (CAPO) is a DevOps Institute programme for people who are accountable for IT service management processes and want them to keep pace with agile and DevOps delivery. Traditional process ownership often means writing procedures and policing compliance. CAPO shows a different approach: treat the process as a product, improve it in small steps and measure whether it helps customers and teams.
The course explains how agile, Scrum, Kanban and lean thinking apply to process design and improvement. You learn to describe a process in terms of value, flow and outcomes; to find waste and bottlenecks; to define useful measures; to run improvement cycles with the people who use the process; and to balance agility with the control that auditors and customers need. Case studies use familiar ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, release and request fulfilment.
The training is live and instructor-led online. The certification exam is booked by you with the examination body (the DevOps Institute programme is now part of PeopleCert); Assure Success does not issue the certificate. Please confirm the current exam format, price and eligibility there.
