About the course
The Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) is aimed at Product Owners who have already shipped product increments and now face harder choices: aligning many stakeholders, validating assumptions before building, measuring value and keeping a backlog meaningful over years instead of weeks.
The course goes beyond writing stories. You work on product strategy and vision, discovery techniques such as experiments and hypothesis-driven development, advanced prioritisation, and the leadership needed to guide a team and its stakeholders towards outcomes. Participants bring real products to work on.
A-CSPO has no exam. Scrum Alliance asks for a CSPO (active or expired), at least 12 months of Product Owner work experience in the last five years and completion of an approved course of at least 16 hours.

A-CSPO needs verified time in the PO role, which makes it more credible than a workshop-only credential.

Your certificate
Check you hold a CSPO and have 12 months of Product Owner experience in the last five years.
Enrol in a scheduled batch and attend the full course of at least 16 hours.
Complete any pre- or post-course assignments from your educator.
Record and validate your Product Owner experience on your Scrum Alliance account.
Accept the A-CSPO licence agreement; your A-CSPO is issued and your CSPO renews automatically.
