About the course
What this course covers
TOGAF is the most widely adopted enterprise architecture framework. It provides a structured method, the Architecture Development Method (ADM), and supporting content for aligning business strategy with information systems, data, applications and technology. Enterprise architects use it to plan transformations, manage change and govern complex IT landscapes.
This course prepares you for both levels of The Open Group's TOGAF Enterprise Architecture certification. Part 1 (Foundation) tests knowledge of the framework's concepts, the ADM, ADM techniques, architecture governance and architecture content. Part 2 (Practitioner) tests your ability to apply TOGAF to scenarios, selecting the best response from options. You will study the Fundamental Content of the TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition, including the Introduction and Core Concepts, the ADM from the Preliminary phase through Phase H, and Requirements Management, then practise adapting the ADM, using guidelines and techniques, and governing architecture.
One course covers both levels. The Open Group offers each part separately or as a combined exam, and our trainers explain the options so you can choose the path that suits your timing.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Is this TOGAF 9 or TOGAF 10?
The course follows the TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition. The Open Group now titles the credentials TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner, based on that edition.
Q.Can I take Part 1 and Part 2 together?
Yes, the combined OGEA-103 exam covers both. Alternatively take Part 1 first and then Part 2.
Q.How hard is Part 2?
It is scenario based and tests applying the framework, but the TOGAF body of knowledge is available during the exam. Practice with scenario questions is the key.
Q.I hold TOGAF 9 certification. What do I do?
The Open Group offers a Bridge exam (OGEA-10B) for TOGAF 9 Certified holders to move to the Practitioner level. See opengroup.org for details.
Q.Do I need architecture experience?
Not formally, but IT or business analysis experience makes scenarios easier to understand.
Q.How do I book the exam in India?
Buy the exam on The Open Group's site and schedule through Pearson VUE at a test centre or take it at home with online proctoring.
