About the course
What this course covers
Tableau Certification Training teaches you to turn data into interactive, decision-ready dashboards with Tableau Desktop. You start with connecting to files and databases and understanding dimensions, measures and data types, then move to building the full range of charts, from bar and line to maps, dual axes, box plots and Pareto charts.
The middle of the course covers what separates routine users from strong analysts: calculated fields, table calculations, Level of Detail expressions, parameters, sets and groups, and the order of operations that governs how Tableau filters and calculates. You then combine sheets into dashboards with actions, navigation and layout for different devices, and learn how to publish and share. A closing section introduces Tableau Prep for data cleaning and gives an overview of the newer assistive features Tableau offers.
This course prepares you for Tableau's skills, and the topics map closely to what Tableau's own certification exams test. However, Tableau certification now sits within Salesforce's credential programme, and exam names, fees and availability have been changing, so we do not list a fixed exam here. We help you check the current options on the official Tableau and Salesforce pages when you are ready. You receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Does this course include a Tableau certification exam?
No. You receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate. Tableau's certifications are run by Tableau under the Salesforce credential programme, are booked separately, and their names and fees have been changing, so check the official pages for the current options.
Q.Is Tableau free?
Tableau Desktop is paid software with a free trial. Tableau Public is free but publishes your work publicly, so use only non-confidential data there.
Q.Tableau or Power BI: which should I learn?
Both are widely used in India. Power BI is more common in Microsoft-centric organisations and often cheaper; Tableau is strong in visual analysis. Many analysts learn both. Check job listings in your target companies.
Q.Do I need SQL?
Not for the course, but SQL is expected for most analyst jobs. Consider SQL for Data Analytics alongside this.
Q.Will I learn Tableau Prep?
Yes, as an introduction to cleaning and shaping data before analysis.
Q.Which Tableau version will we use?
A current Tableau Desktop release. Interface details change between versions, but the concepts in the course stay the same.
