What this course covers
SAP FICO, the Financial Accounting and Controlling modules, sits at the heart of most SAP implementations because every purchase, sale and payment ends up in the books. This two-month live online programme teaches how finance processes run in SAP S/4HANA, from setting up a company code to posting invoices, running payments, capitalising assets and closing the period.
Sessions follow how a finance team actually works. You start with the S/4HANA user interface and Universal Journal concept, then configure enterprise structure and the chart of accounts, and move through GL, AP, AR, bank accounting and Asset Accounting. The Controlling modules cover cost and profit centres and internal orders. Integration with procurement (MM) and sales (SD) shows how postings are created automatically from logistics documents.
The programme prepares you for the SAP Certified - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Financial Accounting exam; the exam is booked and paid separately with SAP. Exam details change, so always check learning.sap.com for the current version, format and fee before booking.

Q.Do I need to know accounting before joining?
Basic accounting (debit/credit, ledgers, financial statements) is needed. You do not need to be a qualified accountant.
Q.Is the course on S/4HANA or the older ECC?
It is based on SAP S/4HANA. We mention ECC differences where they help, since some companies still run ECC.
Q.Which SAP exam does this prepare for?
The topics align with SAP's Financial Accounting certification. SAP's page for the Private Edition exam lists C_TS4FI; note that C_S4CFI is a related code for the Public Edition. Check learning.sap.com for the version and code that is current when you book.
Q.Is the exam included in the fee?
No. The exam is booked and paid separately with SAP.
