About the course
What this course covers
SAFe for Teams, officially the SAFe Practitioner (SP) course, is the course for the people who actually do the work on an Agile Release Train. It explains how an agile team fits into a team of teams, how teams plan and track work, and how they connect their daily progress to PI Objectives.
The curriculum follows the SP exam outline: introducing SAFe and its core values and principles; forming agile teams as trains with Scrum and Kanban; connecting to the customer through product vision, roadmap, features and stories; planning the work with writing and estimating stories, the team backlog, team planning and PI Planning; delivering value through the continuous delivery pipeline, sync events and built-in quality; getting feedback through team and system demos; and improving relentlessly across competency, flow and outcomes.
The SP exam is web-based with 45 single-select questions in 90 minutes and an 80% pass mark. Scaled Agile also publishes AI-empowered editions of several courses, so your trainer will confirm the exact edition and exam version at enrolment.
