About the course
What this course covers
The SAFe DevOps Practitioner (SDP) course helps teams and leaders shorten the time from idea to value. It takes the SAFe view that DevOps is a culture, a set of practices and a delivery pipeline, and applies Culture, Automation, Lean flow, Measurement and Recovery (CALMR) to improve it.
The exam outline gives six domains: introducing DevOps and the problem it solves; value stream mapping to assess the health of a development value stream; continuous exploration (hypotheses, customer research, architecting for continuous delivery, WSJF); continuous integration (developing, building, end-to-end testing, staging); continuous deployment (deploying, verifying, monitoring, responding and recovering); and release on demand (releasing, stabilising, measuring value and learning). The class includes a value stream mapping workshop.
The SDP exam has 45 single-select questions in 90 minutes, and the pass mark is 73%. Scaled Agile also publishes AI-empowered editions of several courses, so your trainer will confirm the exact edition and exam version at enrolment.
