What this course covers
SAFe Agile Product Management (APM) teaches Product Managers how to discover what customers need and how to organise that learning into a product strategy, roadmap and ART backlog. It goes deeper into product discovery than the POPM course.
The eight lessons match the exam domains: the Product Manager role in the Lean enterprise and design thinking; continuous exploration of markets and users; market segmentation; empathy-driven design with personas and customer experience; product strategy and vision including value propositions, business models, customer journeys and platform strategy; roadmaps and solution intent; value delivery through ART Kanban, backlog and PI Planning; and innovation in the value stream through epics, experiments and funding.
The APM exam has 60 single-select questions in 120 minutes, and the pass mark is 75%. Scaled Agile also publishes AI-empowered editions of several courses, so your trainer will confirm the exact edition and exam version at enrolment.
