About the course
What this course covers
The SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) course is for Scrum Masters who already know the basics of SAFe and want to improve how teams and the ART flow work. It moves beyond running events to analysing flow data, coaching teams out of dysfunction and building trust with stakeholders.
The exam outline gives three focus areas: supporting ART events and finishing the PI (tracking iteration progress and flow), improving flow using the eight flow accelerators, and building high-performing teams (self-organisation, collaboration within and across teams, skill development, addressing dysfunction and building trust). The class uses case studies and exercises to apply each area.
The ASM exam is a short web-based test with 20 questions in 60 minutes and an 80% pass mark. The first attempt is included in the course fee when taken within 60 days of course completion. Scaled Agile also publishes AI-empowered editions of several courses, so your trainer will confirm the exact edition and exam version at enrolment.
