About the course
What this course covers
React is the most widely used library for building web user interfaces, and this course teaches it the way it is used in 2026: function components, hooks, TypeScript, and a modern toolchain built on Vite. You learn to break a screen into components, manage local and shared state, handle forms, and fetch and cache server data.
The course also covers what changed in React 19: Actions, the useActionState, useOptimistic and use APIs, ref as a prop, and improved Suspense and error handling. You will see how server components fit in through a short introduction to Next.js, so you know where React is heading even if your first job uses a client-side app.
There is no official vendor exam for React. Employers assess practical ability, so the course focuses on building and reviewing code. You receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate at the end.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Do I need to know JavaScript before joining?
Yes. You need working knowledge of JavaScript, including arrow functions, array methods, destructuring and promises. If you are unsure, consider the JavaScript course first.
Q.Which React version is taught?
React 19, with hooks and function components. Class components are only explained so you can read older code.
Q.Is there an official React certification?
No. Meta does not offer a standard React exam. Employers look at your projects and live coding performance.
Q.Will I learn Redux?
You get an overview of Redux Toolkit and hands-on practice with Zustand and TanStack Query, which cover most modern needs.
Q.Is TypeScript required?
It is taught in a dedicated module and used in later exercises, because most React teams use TypeScript today.
Q.Does the course include React Native?
No. React Native is a separate topic. The concepts you learn here do carry over to it.
How is this different from the Front-End Developer Bootcamp?
