About the course
What this course covers
R is built for working with data. It is widely used for statistics, research, healthcare analytics, finance and reporting. This course teaches the language and the modern tidyverse way of working, so you can import data, clean it, explore it, visualise it and communicate results.
You work in RStudio throughout. After the language basics, we move quickly into practical analysis: wrangling messy files, creating publication-quality charts, running common statistical tests and fitting a regression model. The last module shows how to turn your analysis into a reproducible report.
There is no external exam. You finish with a small analysis project and the ability to move on to machine learning in R or more advanced R programming.
