About the course
What this course covers
Projects slip because plans were never realistic or because no one noticed the slippage early enough. This course tackles both problems. The first half teaches how to turn an approved idea into a plan that people can commit to, and the second half teaches how to monitor progress honestly and react in time.
You will work on a running case. You draft the scope statement, build the work breakdown structure, estimate and sequence the work, assign resources, set a budget and baseline, and define the measures you will track. Then you simulate reporting periods: the case throws up delays, scope changes and risks, and you practise analysing variances, forecasting and recommending corrective actions.
The course is practical and tool-neutral. There is no external exam; learners receive an Assure Success completion certificate.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Is there an exam?
No external exam. You receive an Assure Success completion certificate.
Q.Which tools do I need?
A spreadsheet is enough. We do not require a specific scheduling tool.
Q.Is it suitable for agile teams?
The core ideas apply, but the case is mostly plan-driven. Agile planning is covered through backlog and release planning topics.
Q.How is it different from the project management techniques course?
This course follows one end-to-end planning and monitoring cycle with a running case. The techniques course is a broader toolbox of individual methods.
Q.Will it help with PMP?
It covers topics tested in the planning and monitoring parts of the exam but is not PMP preparation and does not provide PMI contact hours.
Q.How is it delivered?
Live online instructor-led sessions in scheduled batches.
Q.Do I need work experience?
No, though bringing a real project helps you apply the ideas.
