Project Management Techniques Training

Many people run projects without ever having been shown the standard techniques that make plans reliable. This course is a practical toolbox. Instead of teaching one certification syllabus, it teaches the techniques that project managers use every week: breaking work down, estimating effort, sequencing tasks, finding the critical path, tracking progress and managing change.

Each technique is taught with a worked example and a short exercise, so you leave knowing when to use it and how to do it by hand. We cover three-point estimating, analogous and parametric estimating, precedence diagramming, schedule compression, burn-down and burn-up charts, simple earned value, risk scoring and stakeholder mapping.

There is no external exam. Learners receive an Assure Success completion certificate. The material also gives a solid base if you later decide to prepare for CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2.
