About the course
What this course covers
Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) shows Scrum Teams how to use Kanban practices to improve flow without changing Scrum. Scrum gives the framework; Kanban adds visualisation, work-in-progress limits and flow metrics that expose delays and give teams data for planning.
The class follows the Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams. You learn to visualise the workflow, limit WIP, actively manage work items in progress, and inspect flow using cycle time, throughput, WIP and work item age. Simulations show the effect of limiting WIP and using cycle-time-based forecasting, including when to use probabilistic forecasting.
The PSK I assessment is online: 45 questions in 60 minutes with an 85% pass mark. The certification is lifetime and has no renewal fee.
