About the course
What this course covers
The Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org proves that you understand the Product Owner accountability in Scrum and can apply it to decide what to build, in what order and why. The assessment has 80 questions in 60 minutes with an 85% pass mark, so you need to know both Scrum and good product practice.
The course explains the Product Owner as the single person accountable for maximising the value of the product. You learn to define a Product Goal, manage the Product Backlog, work with stakeholders, and use empirical evidence, including Scrum.org's Evidence-Based Management, to make decisions. Exercises focus on ordering, saying no, writing outcomes and handling pressure.
After the course you take the PSPO I online. Passing gives a lifetime certification.
