What this course covers
Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) demonstrates that you can use Scrum effectively in complex, messy conditions, not just define it. The assessment mixes scenario-based multiple-choice questions with some that award partial credit, and it asks you to choose the most appropriate action when several answers seem plausible.
The class goes beyond the Scrum Guide into Scrum Master stances such as facilitator, coach, teacher and mentor; handling conflict; helping teams who resist self-management; working with managers and the Product Owner; applying Evidence-Based Management; and understanding the organisation as a system that creates or removes impediments. You discuss anti-patterns and practise the right response.
After the class you take the PSM II assessment online. A pass gives you a lifetime certification with no renewal fee.

Scrum.org recommends it but does not make it mandatory. Attempting PSM II without strong Scrum fundamentals is risky.
