About the course
What this course covers
The Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) course is a hands-on workshop that places developers in a Scrum team and asks them to deliver working software every Sprint. It does not assume a particular language; it assumes you can write code and want to improve how you deliver.
You practise the Developer accountabilities in Scrum: planning the Sprint, creating a Done Increment, adhering to a Definition of Done and adapting daily. Along the way you apply source control, automated testing, test-driven development, continuous integration, code reviews and refactoring, and learn how to avoid technical debt.
The PSD I assessment (80 questions, 60 minutes, 85% pass mark) tests your understanding of Scrum from a Developer's viewpoint and of the supporting engineering practices. The certification is lifetime and has no renewal fee.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Which programming language is used?
The course is language-agnostic; the trainer will tell you which language and tools to prepare at enrolment. You should be comfortable coding in one.
Q.Can testers or DevOps engineers join?
Yes. Test automation and CI/CD are central, and mixed teams make the exercises more realistic.
Q.How is PSD different from CSD?
PSD is an exam-based Scrum.org credential focusing on delivering Done Increments. CSD is awarded by Scrum Alliance on completing its course.
Q.How hard is PSD I?
It has 80 questions in 60 minutes with an 85% pass mark. It tests Scrum and engineering practices, so hands-on experience helps.
Q.Does PSD expire?
No, it is a lifetime certification.
Q.What if I have never used TDD or CI?
That is expected. The course introduces both from basics.
Q.Do I need PSM I first?
No, but knowing Scrum well makes the course and the assessment easier.
