About the course
What this course covers
Microsoft Project is one of the most widely used scheduling tools in project management offices. Knowing a scheduling tool is different from knowing how to schedule: you need to understand dependencies, constraints, calendars and resources so the Gantt chart reflects reality. This course teaches both.
You begin by creating a project, setting the calendar and entering tasks with a work breakdown structure. You link tasks, add constraints and deadlines, assign resources and costs, and set a baseline. Then you track progress, compare the plan with actuals, resolve over-allocations and produce reports for sponsors.
There is no formal external exam for this course. Learners receive an Assure Success completion certificate. The skills are directly useful in interviews and in daily project work, and they pair well with PMP, PRINCE2 or earned-value training.
