About the course
What this course covers
Leading SAFe is the foundation course in the Scaled Agile Framework. It is built for the people who must make a large organisation work in an agile way: managers, architects, programme leads and executives who need a shared language for planning, funding and delivering value across many teams.
The two days follow the SAFe Agilist (SA) exam outline. You start with business agility and the seven core competencies, move through the Lean-Agile mindset, core values and SAFe principles, then study team and technical agility, Agile Product Delivery (customer centricity, design thinking, the ART backlog, PI Planning, DevOps and release on demand) and Lean Portfolio Management. The course ends with the SAFe Implementation Roadmap and your role as a change leader.
After the course you take the SAFe Agilist exam online. Pass it and you hold the SAFe Agilist (SA) certification for one year, renewable annually. Scaled Agile also publishes AI-empowered editions of several courses, so your trainer will confirm the exact edition and exam version at enrolment.
