What this course covers
ISO/IEC 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). Organisations of all sizes use it to protect information assets, satisfy customer security questionnaires and demonstrate compliance with regulatory expectations. In India it is widely demanded by IT services firms, fintechs, healthcare providers and cloud businesses.
This 24-hour course introduces the ISO 27000 family and explains the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 in detail: understanding the organisation, leadership and policy, risk assessment and treatment, objectives, support, operation, performance evaluation, internal audit, management review and improvement. It then walks through the 93 controls in Annex A of the 2022 edition, grouped into organisational, people, physical and technological themes, with guidance from ISO/IEC 27002:2022. A short note covers Amendment 1:2024, which adds climate-change considerations.
Participants practise identifying assets, assessing risks, selecting controls, preparing a Statement of Applicability and conducting an internal audit. The course is a knowledge and implementation programme without an external exam. Formal lead implementer or lead auditor qualifications are available separately from recognised certification bodies.

No. It is a knowledge and implementation course with a completion confirmation from Assure Success. Lead auditor and lead implementer qualifications come from separate accredited bodies.
Q.Which version of ISO 27001 do you teach?
ISO/IEC 27001:2022, including Amendment 1:2024, with the 93-control Annex A aligned to ISO/IEC 27002:2022.
Q.Can a person be ISO 27001 certified?
Organisations are certified against ISO 27001. Individuals can earn auditor or implementer certifications, which are separate.
Q.Do I need a technical background?
