About the course
What this course covers
This course teaches you to build native apps for iPhone and iPad using Swift and Apple's own frameworks. You start with the Xcode workflow and the parts of Swift you need every day, then move into SwiftUI to design screens, handle navigation and manage app state. By the end you will have built a complete app that talks to a web API, stores data on the device and follows a clean architecture.
The live sessions are practical: you write code in every class, and each module ends with a small build that you extend in the next one. We use current Xcode and the current iOS SDK, so what you learn matches what companies are shipping now, including Swift concurrency (async/await) and the modern data and persistence options Apple provides.
There is no external certification exam for iOS development, so the outcome is the skill itself: a working app, code you can explain, and the ability to prepare a build for TestFlight and the App Store. You will need a Mac to run Xcode; the trainer explains the options before the batch starts.
Who should attend
- ● Software developers who want to move into mobile app development
- ● Android or web developers adding iOS to their skill set
- ● Computer science and engineering students aiming for an app-developer role
- ● Freelancers and founders who want to build their own iPhone app
- ● QA and support engineers who want to understand how iOS apps are built
Prerequisites
Key skills
Skills you will walk away with
Swift fundamentals
Write safe, readable Swift using optionals, structs, enums, protocols and closures.
SwiftUI interface building
Compose lists, forms, navigation stacks and tab bars that adapt to iPhone and iPad.
State and data flow
Manage view state and shared app state with the Observation framework and property wrappers.
Networking with async/await
Call REST APIs, decode JSON with Codable and handle loading and error states.
Local persistence
Store data on the device using SwiftData, UserDefaults and the file system.
App architecture
Structure code with MVVM so that screens stay small, testable and easy to change.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Do I need a Mac to join this course?
Yes, Xcode only runs on macOS, so you need a Mac (a MacBook, iMac or Mac mini) that supports the current Xcode. Tell us before the batch starts if you are unsure and we will help you check your machine.
Q.I have never used Swift. Is that a problem?
No. The first modules teach Swift from scratch. You do need basic programming logic from any language.
Q.Should I learn Swift/SwiftUI or UIKit?
This course focuses on Swift and SwiftUI because that is Apple's current direction for new apps. Many existing company apps still use UIKit, so we explain where UIKit appears and how the two work together.
Q.Do I need a paid Apple Developer account?
Not to learn. You can run apps on the Simulator and on your own device for free. A paid Apple Developer Program membership (charged yearly by Apple) is only needed for TestFlight and App Store release.
Q.Is there a certification exam?
There is no official external exam for iOS development. You receive an Assure Success course completion certificate, and your capstone app is the proof of skill.
Q.How long is the course and how is it taught?
It is 40 hours of live online instructor-led training, delivered in scheduled batches with hands-on coding in each session.
