About the course
What this course covers
Systems Coaching (ICP-SYS) is on ICAgile's Agile Delivery track and extends coaching from individuals and single teams to the wider system a team lives in: other teams, managers, customers and the organisation's policies.
The course introduces systems thinking and practical tools for seeing patterns, such as causal loop diagrams, stock-and-flow ideas and stakeholder mapping. It then applies them to coaching, including how a coach reads team and organisational dynamics, intervenes at the right level and avoids becoming part of the problem. You practise with case studies and live exercises on coaching a team of teams.
ICAgile certifications are awarded for completing an accredited class and meeting the instructor's acceptance criteria; there is no separate exam. The course assumes that you are already comfortable with basic coaching and facilitation skills.

Questions learners ask us
Q.Do I need ICP-ACC before this?
ICAgile does not make it a condition for attending, but coaching and facilitation experience is strongly recommended.
Q.Is there an exam?
No separate exam is required. You are assessed during the live class and must attend all learning outcomes.
Q.Is this a theoretical course?
No. Most time is spent drawing diagrams, mapping stakeholders and practising on cases.
Q.How is it different from enterprise coaching (ICP-ENT/CAT)?
ENT and CAT look at organisations and change programmes. ICP-SYS focuses on the coaching skills and systems tools used inside that environment.
Q.Does the certificate expire?
No. ICAgile states certifications do not expire and carry no renewal fee.
Q.Can a Scrum Master with one team benefit?
Yes, especially if the team depends on other teams or a rigid environment. You will still get more from the course with some coaching experience.
