About the course
Foundations of DevOps (ICP-FDO) is a continuous-learning certification on ICAgile's DevOps track. It explains the ideas behind DevOps and how they extend agile beyond the development team into testing, release and operations.
The course starts with the problem DevOps tries to solve: slow, risky releases caused by silos between development, testing and operations. You then study the culture and collaboration patterns that help, the delivery pipeline, test automation, infrastructure as code, deployment strategies, monitoring and feedback, and the integration of security. The emphasis is on understanding principles and trade-offs, with tools mentioned as examples and not taught in depth.
ICAgile certifications are awarded for completing an accredited class and meeting the instructor's acceptance criteria; there is no separate exam. It is a good fit if you want to speak confidently about DevOps and plan your own technical learning path.

Take part in the value-stream mapping and pipeline-design exercises; the instructor uses them to assess outcomes.
Complete the in-class activities and assessment until the instructor confirms you have met the acceptance criteria.
Receive your ICP-FDO certificate and digital badge from ICAgile and add it to your CV and LinkedIn profile.
