What this course covers
Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) is ICAgile's certification for people who guide groups toward useful outcomes without dominating the discussion. Facilitation is a neutral role: you take care of the process so the group can focus on the content.
The course covers the facilitator stance, how groups behave and make decisions, and how to design a session with a clear purpose, agenda and outcome. You then practise techniques for opening, exploring ideas, narrowing choices and closing, and apply them to common agile events such as planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives. A good share of the class is spent on remote facilitation, since most teams in India now work in distributed or hybrid set-ups.
ICAgile certifications are earned by completing an accredited class and meeting the instructor's assessment criteria rather than by passing a separate exam. The facilitation skills are not limited to agile; they transfer to any team meeting or workshop.

Questions learners ask us
Q.Is there a written exam for ICP-ATF?
No separate exam is required by ICAgile. You are assessed during the live class through activities and facilitation practice, as set by the instructor.
Q.I am not a Scrum Master. Is this still useful?
Yes. Project managers, BAs, team leads and trainers all attend. Anyone who runs meetings or workshops can use the techniques.
Q.Do I have to facilitate in front of the class?
You will facilitate short practice segments in small groups. It is a safe space and the point is to learn from feedback.
Q.How long is the certificate valid?
ICAgile states its certifications do not expire and carry no renewal fee.
Q.Does it cover remote tools?
Yes. A dedicated part of the course covers virtual and hybrid facilitation, including whiteboards and breakout rooms.
Q.Should I take ICP-ACC or ICP-ATF first?
Either order works. Facilitation is the easier starting point if you run a lot of meetings; coaching suits you if you mostly work one-to-one.
