Generative AI for Business Analysts

Generative AI can draft documents, summarise long discussions, propose user stories and highlight inconsistencies in minutes. For business analysts, who spend much of their time reading, writing and structuring information, that is a significant opportunity, and a risk if outputs are accepted without checking.

This course shows how to use general-purpose AI assistants across the business analysis cycle. You will practise preparing for elicitation (stakeholder maps, interview questions, workshop agendas), analysing transcripts and notes, drafting requirements and user stories, writing acceptance criteria, creating process descriptions and simple diagrams as text, reviewing requirements for ambiguity and conflict, and preparing test scenarios and stakeholder communications.

A central theme is professional judgement: verifying facts, protecting confidential client information, keeping a clear audit trail of what the AI produced, and following your organisation's policy. There is no external exam; learners receive an Assure Success completion certificate.
