About the course
What this course covers
Project managers are routinely asked about budgets, forecasts and returns, yet many have never been taught the finance behind those questions. This course closes that gap with language and tools designed for project work rather than for accountants.
You will learn how project budgets are built from estimates, how contingency and management reserves differ, and how cash flow can diverge from cost. You work through the maths used in business cases: return on investment, payback, net present value and internal rate of return, so you can interpret and challenge an investment proposal. You also practise forecasting, variance analysis and cost control during delivery.
We use Indian business examples and rupee figures, covering topics such as GST on project costs at an awareness level. There is no external exam; learners receive an Assure Success completion certificate.
