What this course covers
This course gives you a working picture of the whole .NET platform and how its parts fit together: the runtime, the base class libraries, C#, NuGet packages and the application models built on top. It suits learners who want one broad course before specialising in web, desktop or cloud work.
You will write C# throughout, build console applications and reusable libraries, access data with ADO.NET and Entity Framework Core, and expose functionality through a REST API. We use current .NET, and explain how it relates to the older .NET Framework found in many enterprise systems.
No external exam is attached. You receive an Assure Success course completion certificate and a set of working projects.
