About the course
What this course covers
.NET MAUI is Microsoft's framework for building cross-platform apps with C# and XAML. A single project can run on Android, iOS, macOS and Windows, with access to native device features. This course is aimed at .NET developers who want to build mobile and desktop apps without learning a separate language for each platform.
You will learn XAML layouts, data binding, the MVVM pattern, Shell navigation, dependency injection and how to call REST services and store data locally. We use the current .NET release and Visual Studio tooling, and cover how Xamarin.Forms apps relate to MAUI, since many companies still maintain migration projects.
There is no external exam for MAUI. You finish with a working multi-platform app and the practical knowledge to join a .NET mobile team.

Q.Do I need to know Xamarin first?
No. Xamarin knowledge helps but is not required. We teach MAUI from the start and add notes for people migrating from Xamarin.Forms.
Q.Which C# skills do I need?
You should be comfortable with classes, interfaces, generics basics, collections, LINQ and async/await. If you are weaker on these, our C# Training course is a good first step.
Q.Can I develop iOS apps on a Windows PC?
You can write the code on Windows, but building and running for iOS requires a Mac (local or networked). Android and Windows work directly from a Windows PC.
Q.Is MAUI used in real companies?
Yes, particularly for internal enterprise apps and companies that already use .NET. Adoption is smaller than React Native or Flutter overall, so we recommend it mainly if you work in the .NET ecosystem.
Q.Is there a Microsoft exam for MAUI?
Microsoft does not offer a dedicated .NET MAUI certification exam. You receive an Assure Success course completion certificate.
Q.How long is the course?
