About the course
What this course covers
Docker and Kubernetes Training is for learners who want the whole journey from a single container to a scaled, self-healing deployment. Many people learn Docker and Kubernetes separately and struggle to connect them. This course keeps them together: you containerise an application, then use the same application as you learn each Kubernetes concept.
The first half covers Docker: images, containers, Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, networking, volumes, Compose and registries. The second half covers Kubernetes: architecture, Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, configuration, storage, probes, resource limits, autoscaling, RBAC and Helm. The capstone has you build and deploy a multi-service application, add a CI step that builds and pushes images, and troubleshoot a deliberately broken release.
There is no exam in this course. Optional credentials include the Docker Certified Associate (administered by Mirantis) and the Linux Foundation's CKA and CKAD exams; each is booked separately with its own provider. Delivery is live, instructor-led and online.
Who should attend
- ● Developers who want to package and deploy their applications
- ● System administrators beginning with containers
- ● DevOps trainees and cloud engineers
- ● Testers and release engineers who need container environments
- ● Anyone preparing for Kubernetes certifications who needs the Docker base first

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Should I take this or the separate Docker and Kubernetes courses?
This combined course is best for beginners who want one connected path. The separate DCA and CKA courses go deeper for exams.
Q.Is there an exam?
No exam in this course. You get an Assure Success completion certificate.
Q.Do I need a powerful laptop?
A laptop with 8 GB RAM is recommended for running a local cluster. Cloud alternatives can be arranged.
Q.Which Kubernetes distribution do you use?
A lightweight local cluster for labs. Concepts apply to managed services such as EKS, AKS and GKE.
Q.Will I learn Docker Swarm?
Only briefly for context. Kubernetes is the main orchestrator in this course.
Q.Can non-developers attend?
Yes. We provide sample applications, so you do not need to write application code.
