About the course
What this course covers
Django is a batteries-included Python web framework used for everything from content sites to large data-driven applications. This course assumes you already know Python and teaches Django's approach: the model-template-view structure, the ORM, the admin site, forms, authentication, security defaults and the ecosystem around it.
You build a project from scratch: start a project and apps, design models and migrations, write function-based and class-based views, create templates with inheritance, handle forms and validation, and add user login and permissions. Django REST Framework is then used to build JSON APIs with serializers, viewsets and token or JWT authentication. The final modules cover testing, caching, Celery background tasks and deploying with Gunicorn, Nginx and Docker.
Django has no mandatory vendor exam. You complete a project and receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate on completion.

Yes. This 20-hour course starts straight with Django. If you are new to Python, take the Python with Django course, which teaches both.
Q.Which Django version is used?
Django 5.2 LTS or a newer stable release, depending on your batch. Version-specific changes are noted in class.
Q.Django or Flask?
Django suits full applications because it includes many features. Flask is lighter and suits small services. We offer a separate Flask course.
Q.Is there a Django certification exam?
No official exam exists. Employers evaluate projects and interviews.

Q.Which database is used?
SQLite while learning, then PostgreSQL for deployment.
