About the course
What this course covers
DevSecOps Engineer Certification Training teaches how to build security into software delivery instead of adding it at the end. Traditional security reviews slow releases and find problems late. DevSecOps moves checks into the pipeline so that developers receive fast, actionable feedback.
The course follows the delivery lifecycle. You start with threat modelling and secure design, then add pre-commit hooks and secret scanning, static application security testing and software composition analysis to the CI stage, container image scanning, infrastructure-as-code scanning, dynamic testing in staging, and runtime monitoring and response. You also learn secrets management, policy as code, compliance automation and vulnerability triage, and how to build a security champions programme.
The course is delivered as an Assure Success skills program. DevOps Institute (part of PeopleCert) runs DevSecOps credentials, and we mention them as optional next steps; please check the examination body for the exact exam, eligibility and current details. Delivery is live, instructor-led and online.
