About the course
What this course covers
Design thinking is a human-centred way of solving problems. Instead of starting with a solution, you begin by understanding the people affected, framing the real problem and exploring many ideas before testing the best ones with users. It is widely used in product design, service design, innovation labs and business transformation.
This course follows the commonly taught five stages: empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test. You learn user research methods such as interviews and observation, synthesise what you hear into insights, personas and problem statements, and generate ideas with structured brainstorming and how-might-we questions. You then turn ideas into quick prototypes, run simple tests with users and refine your concept based on feedback. The course links design thinking to agile delivery so insights can feed backlogs.
There is no external exam. Work is done in teams on a real or case-based challenge, and you receive a course completion certificate from the training provider.

FAQs
Questions learners ask us
Q.Is there an exam?
No. It is a skills course with a completion certificate from the training provider.
Q.Do I need to be a designer?
No. People from business, technology, HR and operations attend. No drawing skill is needed.
Q.Will I work on a real problem?

Q.Does it work online?
Yes. The course uses online whiteboards and breakout rooms to run workshops with a live instructor.
Q.Will it help my career?
It adds problem-framing and research skills that product, consulting and innovation roles value, but no job outcome is guaranteed.
