About the course
What this course covers
The Data Engineer Bootcamp prepares you for the role that makes analytics and AI possible: building reliable systems that collect, clean, store and serve data. You learn the full chain, from extracting data out of source systems to modelling it in a warehouse or lakehouse, transforming it, orchestrating the jobs and monitoring them in production.
The course starts with strong SQL and Python and the fundamentals of data modelling, including dimensional design. It then covers distributed processing with Apache Spark, workflow orchestration with Airflow, transformation with dbt, streaming with Kafka, and cloud data services. Because most Indian employers run on a major cloud, labs are done on a cloud free tier or a local container setup, and the principles transfer across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Quality, testing, security and cost are treated as core topics, not extras.
There is no external exam. The bootcamp ends with a capstone in which you build a working pipeline, and you receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate. If you want a Microsoft Fabric exam route, see the separate Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700) course.

Q.Do I need to know Python and SQL beforehand?
Basic SQL and some Python are expected. Both are deepened during the course, but a complete beginner will find the pace fast.
Q.Which cloud is used?
The principles are cloud-neutral. Labs use free tiers or local containers; the coordinator will confirm the exact setup for your batch.
Q.Is there a vendor exam at the end?
No. You get an Assure Success course-completion certificate. For a vendor exam on Microsoft Fabric, see the DP-700 course.
Q.What is the difference between a data engineer and a data scientist?
Data engineers build the systems that deliver clean, reliable data. Data scientists use that data to build models and insights. They work closely together.
Q.Is Hadoop still taught?
Hadoop concepts such as distributed storage are covered briefly. Most current employers use Spark with cloud object storage and lakehouse formats.
Q.Will I need a powerful laptop?
A laptop with 8 GB RAM or more helps for Docker-based labs, and cloud labs reduce local needs.
