About the course
What this course covers
The Data Analyst Certification Course is built around the day-to-day work of a data analyst: pull data from a database, clean and combine it, calculate the right metrics, find out what is driving a change, and present the finding in a way that a manager can act on. Instead of teaching one tool in depth, it gives you a working toolkit and shows where each tool fits.
You start with Excel for fast exploration and reporting, move to SQL for querying relational databases, then use Python and pandas for larger or more complex analysis and automation. Dashboards are built in Power BI or Tableau, and the statistics sections show how to test whether a difference is real, how to design a basic A/B test and how to avoid common traps such as misleading averages. You also learn how to use AI assistants to speed up query writing and explanation while checking the results yourself.
There is no external exam. The programme ends with a capstone analysis and an Assure Success course-completion certificate. If you want a Microsoft credential for Power BI, see the separate Power BI PL-300 course.

Q.Do I need to know coding?
No. SQL and Python are taught from scratch, though regular practice is needed.
Q.Is Power BI or Tableau used?
One of them is used for the dashboard module. Ask the coordinator which is planned for your batch; the design principles apply to both.
Q.Does this give a Microsoft or other vendor certificate?
No. You receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate. For the Microsoft Power BI exam, see the Power BI PL-300 course.
Q.What is the difference between a data analyst and a data scientist?
Analysts focus on describing and explaining what happened and why, using SQL, BI tools and statistics. Data scientists focus more on predictive models. Many people start as analysts and grow into data science.
Q.Can a non-IT graduate become a data analyst?
Yes. Many analysts come from commerce, science and management backgrounds. Employers look for SQL, Excel, a BI tool and the ability to explain findings.
