What this course covers
The Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) is the senior tier of the Scrum Alliance's Scrum Master track. It recognises people who have spent years serving teams and now influence how entire units or organisations work.
The course explores the role beyond a single team: helping leaders understand agility, building communities of practice, coordinating multiple teams, mentoring other Scrum Masters and sustaining change when pressure returns. Participants share real situations and receive structured peer coaching.
There is no exam. To be certified you need an A-CSM (active or expired), 24 months of Scrum Master work experience in the past five years, successful completion of an approved CSP-SM course and acceptance of the licence agreement.

No. Scrum Alliance certifies CSP-SM through the approved course, your A-CSM and your validated experience.
Q.Can I attend the course before I have 24 months of experience?
Yes, but the certification is not issued until the 24 months are recorded and validated.
Q.How long is the course?
Providers commonly run it as a two-day (about 16-hour) workshop. Your trainer will confirm the schedule at enrolment.
Q.Can I skip A-CSM if I hold PSM II or III?
Scrum Alliance requires an A-CSM for CSP-SM. A PSM holder generally earns A-CSM first; check current rules on the Scrum Alliance site.
Q.What does renewal involve?
Every two years; third-party guides list 40 SEUs and about US$250, so confirm the current figure on scrumalliance.org.
Q.Is CSP-SM only for Scrum Masters?
