About the course
What this course covers
The Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner (CSP-PO) is the Scrum Alliance's expert credential for Product Owners. It is for people who have owned products for years and are now accountable for strategy, portfolio-level trade-offs and mentoring other Product Owners.
The course covers three themes that the Scrum Alliance lists for the CSP-PO: strategy and purpose, high-level ways to test product assumptions, and advanced Product Backlog management. Participants bring their own products and leave with a refined strategy, an experiment plan and a clearer view of how to coach product teams.
There is no exam. To be certified you need an A-CSPO (active or expired), at least 24 months of Product Owner work experience in the last five years, completion of an approved CSP-PO course and acceptance of the licence agreement.
