About the course
What this course covers
C# is Microsoft's main language for building web APIs, desktop software, cloud services and games with Unity. This course teaches C# properly: syntax, object-oriented design and the features that make C# productive, such as LINQ, async/await, records and pattern matching.
We use the current .NET platform, so you learn the cross-platform .NET that companies use today rather than the older .NET Framework only. Sessions are hands-on with code written live, exercises after each module and a mini project that connects to a database and exposes a simple API.
The course does not prepare for one specific Microsoft exam, but it covers the foundation any .NET role depends on. You can follow it with ASP.NET or .NET MAUI training.
Who should attend
- ● Beginners and students wanting a strong first language
- ● Developers from Java, Python or JavaScript moving to .NET
- ● Testers who want to write automation in C#
- ● Windows desktop or VB.NET developers modernising their skills
- ● Aspiring Unity game developers who need C# fundamentals
Prerequisites
- ● No prior C# knowledge needed
- ● Basic programming logic is helpful
- ● A computer that can run Visual Studio Community or VS Code with the .NET SDK
