Why take CompTIA Security+ Certification Training?

CompTIA Security+ is the most widely taken entry-level cybersecurity certification. It validates the core skills for assessing the security posture of an environment, implementing and monitoring controls, operating securely in cloud and hybrid settings, responding to incidents and understanding governance, risk and compliance.

This 40-hour course follows the SY0-701 objectives: General Security Concepts, Threats, Vulnerabilities and Mitigations, Security Architecture, Security Operations, and Security Program Management and Oversight. Lessons mix concept teaching with scenarios and labs, such as analysing phishing indicators, configuring access controls, interpreting vulnerability scan results and walking through an incident response plan.

CompTIA has indicated that a new version, SY0-801, is expected on or around 17 November 2026, with the current SY0-701 continuing to be available for a transition period. Our trainers will keep you informed: if you plan to test in the next few months, SY0-701 remains a valid option, and the course content carries over to SY0-801 for most topics.
