Why take CompTIA Project+ Certification Training?

CompTIA Project+ is an entry-level project management certification designed for people who coordinate or manage small to medium projects as part of their role, particularly in IT. It covers the full project life cycle and the vocabulary used by both traditional and agile teams, without requiring extensive prior experience.

The PK0-005 exam is organised into four domains: Project Management Concepts, Project Life Cycle Phases, Project Tools and Documentation, and Basics of IT and Governance. This course explains project and programme concepts, constraints, roles, methodologies (waterfall and agile), initiation and planning, execution, monitoring and control, closure, risk and change management, communications, budgeting and schedules, and the documents and tools used to run projects.

Through exercises you will build a project charter, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk register and status report. The course is a practical starting point if you plan to move on to PMP or CAPM later, or if you simply need to run projects more effectively.
