About the course
What this course covers
CompTIA Cloud+ is a vendor-neutral certification for professionals who operate and secure cloud infrastructure in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Unlike provider-specific exams, it teaches the principles that apply across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and private clouds, including architecture, deployment, operations, security, DevOps practices and troubleshooting.
The CV0-004 exam is organised into six domains: Cloud Architecture, Deployment, Security, Operations, DevOps Fundamentals and Troubleshooting. This course covers each domain in turn. You will compare service and deployment models, plan compute, storage and networking, migrate workloads, apply infrastructure as code and CI/CD concepts, monitor and optimise cost and performance, and troubleshoot connectivity, capacity and security problems.
The course suits system administrators, cloud engineers and network professionals who already work with servers or virtual environments and want a recognised cloud credential. CompTIA recommends prior experience with networking, storage and virtualisation, and the labs build on that base.

They serve different goals. Cloud+ is vendor-neutral and operations-focused, while AWS and Azure certificates prove skill on a specific platform. Many professionals take Cloud+ first or alongside.
Q.Do I need cloud experience?
CompTIA recommends 2 to 3 years in systems or networking. Complete beginners should build networking and virtualisation basics first.
