About the course
What this course covers
CodeIgniter is a lightweight PHP framework known for its small footprint, speed and simple setup. It remains popular with agencies, small businesses and government or institutional projects in India, and many existing applications are built on it. This course teaches CodeIgniter 4, the current major version, which requires modern PHP and brings namespaces, filters, migrations and a proper REST toolkit.
You learn the MVC structure, routing, controllers, views and view layouts, then models with the Query Builder and Entities. Form validation, sessions, flash data and filters are covered, along with building user authentication. You also build JSON APIs with ResourceController, work with migrations and seeders, handle file uploads, send email, and deploy to a shared host or VPS. Because CodeIgniter 3 projects still exist, the differences with version 3 are explained.
There is no vendor exam for CodeIgniter. You complete a project application and receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate on completion.
