What this course covers
COBIT 2019 is ISACA's framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and technology. It helps organisations connect IT activities to business goals, manage risk, deliver value and satisfy regulators. This course explains the COBIT 2019 product architecture and walks through the six governance system principles, the three governance framework principles, the components of a governance system, and the 40 governance and management objectives across the five domains EDM, APO, BAI, DSS and MEA. You will also learn how design factors and focus areas are used to tailor the system to an enterprise's size, risk profile and strategy.
The programme prepares you for the ISACA COBIT 2019 Foundation certificate and equips you to apply COBIT in real governance, audit and implementation work. Examples show how COBIT works alongside ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
