About the course
What this course covers
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 is the most widely recognised credential for senior security practitioners. It proves that you can design, implement and manage an enterprise security programme, not just operate individual tools. The exam is built on eight domains that run from governance and risk through architecture, identity, testing, operations and secure software development.
This 40-hour live online course walks through every domain in teaching order, using real-world scenarios so that you learn why a control is chosen, not only what it is. Because the exam is adaptive and favours risk-based, business-aligned answers, a large share of class time goes to practising that way of thinking: reading a question, spotting the real risk, and choosing the best management-level response.
The course follows the current outline in force since 15 April 2024. ISC2 has announced a refreshed outline from 15 April 2027, and the batch content will be aligned to whichever outline applies on your exam date. Experience rules, the Associate of ISC2 route and the endorsement process are explained early so that you can plan your path to full certification.

Q.Can I take the CISSP exam without five years of experience?
Yes. You can sit and pass the exam and become an Associate of ISC2. You then have six years to gain the required experience and convert to full CISSP.
Q.What is endorsement?
After passing, an ISC2-certified professional must vouch for your experience and professional standing. If you do not know one, ISC2 can act as your endorser, so you will not be blocked.
Q.How do I book the exam from India?
Create an ISC2 account, buy the exam and schedule it through Pearson VUE at an authorised test centre. We explain the steps during the course.
Q.How hard is the CISSP and how long should I study?
It is a broad exam that tests judgement, not memory. Most working professionals combine the 40-hour course with six to ten weeks of self-study and practice questions.
Q.What happens if I fail?
You can retake the exam after a waiting period set by ISC2, which gets longer with each further attempt, and each attempt needs a new exam fee. Check isc2.org for the current retake policy.
Q.How do I keep the certification active?
Earn 120 CPE credits over each three-year cycle, with a minimum each year, and pay the annual maintenance fee. Webinars, conferences, teaching and reading all count.
