About the course
What this course covers
Change Management Practitioner is the application level. Where Foundation tests that you know the concepts, Practitioner presents a case and asks you to analyse it, plan the change and justify your choices in writing. The paper rewards structured, evidence-based answers.
The Practitioner syllabus covers the five Foundation areas in greater depth: organisational context and approach, people and change, change leadership and teams, stakeholders and communication, and the work of the change manager. Practitioner also adds a sixth area, developing professional change practice, which includes sustaining change, momentum, competence and learning, and coaching.
In this course you practise with case studies: assess readiness, map stakeholders, design a communication plan, plan interventions for resistance and decide how to embed the change. You also learn how to use the study guide efficiently in an open-book exam.
