About the course
Why take Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) Training?
The Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) is the Scrum Alliance credential for people who write, test and integrate code in Scrum teams. It addresses a common gap: teams adopt Scrum events but keep delivering untested, hard-to-change software. CSD teaches the technical practices that make a Definition of Done achievable every sprint.
The Scrum Alliance learning objectives cover five areas: Lean, Agile and Scrum fundamentals; collaboration; architecture and design; test-driven development; and integrating continuously. Learners spend most of the time coding in pairs, writing tests first, refactoring and setting up automated builds.
There is no Scrum Alliance exam for the CSD. Certification depends on completing the course with an authorised educator and demonstrating the practices. The course length and structure are set by Scrum Alliance and the educator, so your trainer will confirm the exact schedule at enrolment.
