About the course
Why take CBAP Certification Training?
The Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) recognises senior business analysts who have substantial hands-on experience. It is based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide) version 3 and tests whether you can apply BA knowledge in real situations.
The course covers the six BABOK knowledge areas: business analysis planning and monitoring, elicitation and collaboration, requirements life cycle management, strategy analysis, requirements analysis and design definition, and solution evaluation. We also cover the underlying competencies, the perspectives (agile, business intelligence, information technology, business architecture and business process management), and the techniques you are expected to recognise and apply.
IIBA requires at least 7,500 hours of business analysis work in the last ten years, 35 hours of professional development in the last four years and two references. The exam is 120 multiple-choice questions based on case studies and scenarios over 210 minutes. We help you map your experience to the application and drill with scenario questions.
