What this course covers
Business KPI & Growth Analytics is for people who are tired of dashboards full of numbers that nobody acts on. The course shows how to choose a small number of meaningful metrics, define them precisely, measure them correctly and use them to make decisions about growth.
You learn to translate a business goal into a KPI tree, separate leading from lagging indicators, and avoid vanity metrics. The growth section works through the customer journey using metrics for acquisition, activation, retention, revenue and referral, and covers unit economics such as customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, payback period, gross margin and churn. You practise cohort and funnel analysis, segmentation, simple forecasting and target setting, and learn the basics of experiment design so that you can tell whether a change really moved a metric.
Work is done in Excel and Power BI with some basic SQL examples, so you can reproduce it in your own organisation. There is no external exam. You complete a KPI framework and dashboard for a business case and receive an Assure Success course-completion certificate.

No. Examples use Excel and Power BI with simple steps, and any SQL is explained. Basic Excel is enough.
Q.Is this only for startups?
No. The ideas apply to retail, services, banking, SaaS and manufacturing. Examples are mixed, and you can choose a case close to your industry.
Q.How is this different from the Data Analyst course?
The Data Analyst course builds tools: Excel, SQL, Python and BI. This course is about choosing and using metrics for decisions, and works alongside those tools.
Q.Will we use real company data?
We use practice datasets. You may discuss your own metrics, but do not share confidential data.
Q.Is there an exam?
