About the course
This course teaches the day-to-day skills of a business analyst and the framework that supports them. It is aimed at people who want to enter the profession or formalise what they already do. You follow a realistic case project from the initial business problem through to a signed-off set of requirements and a backlog ready for development.
The curriculum aligns with the knowledge areas in the IIBA BABOK Guide while remaining practical and tool-neutral. You will learn how to understand the business context, identify stakeholders, plan analysis, elicit requirements using several techniques, analyse and model them, write specifications and user stories, validate with stakeholders, and manage changes. Agile ways of working and communication skills run through the course.
The course ends with an Assure Success completion certificate rather than an external exam. If you later want a recognised credential, the ECBA, CCBA, CBAP or PMI-PBA courses build on this foundation.
